Hairstyling tip #1 Straight and textured style.

Alright, so today I'm going to present to you a very easy hairstyling tip that I do very frequently if I don't have much time in the morning.  This is really great for on-the-go.
1. In order to pull this off, you must shower at night.
2. After your shower apply a very small amount of gel into your hair, probably an amount of gel that's about the size of a quarter.  The amount of gel you use, however, really depends on how much hair you have.  I have very thin, blonde, medium length (the back goes just a bit under my ear lobes, then I have a section in the front that goes in front of the ears a bit and curves upwards into the bangs which go down to my eyebrows) hair, I use a little over a thumbnail's worth of gel.  Anyway, now that I've confused you, let's go on to step three.
3. Go right to sleep, sleep when your hair is wet.  The key hear is that you use your pillow as a styling tool.  Sleeping on your hair naturally makes it flatter, and the gel helps keep that straightness.  Also, when you stir in your sleep, you create some texture.
4.  When you wake up you'll be thinking that I am a fib, however, this is the final part. You can use anything like this, but I use a product called Chi Silk Infusions. This is a great product, I only need to use ONE drop of it every time I use it, so it'll probably last forever, and you can get the generic brand of this product at sally's for only $8.  Of course if you have longer hair, use more.  Anyway, put a small drop of this product into your hand and then rub your hands together really well. Next, just rub your hands on top of your hair, making downward strokes like you're pulling the hair down with the palms of your hands.  I'd start where there seems to be the largest amount of "bed head," and then move on from there.  The general rule is "bed head," top, bangs, sides, and then the rest in the back.
5. Congratulate yourself on a one minute hairstyle that's very malleable for any other styling, semi-protected from eat because of the gel, and natural looking!

I finally got a battery for my camera, so I'm going to charge that over night and start using pictures with my posts as well.  I'll post pictures of the steps of this hairstyle as well.

  7. I think that with very thick hair, the hair would be horrendous in the morning. But I have really fine hair, so it's not messy at all :D
